Fall Update from the 2017/2018 CAPA President

We have begun the year with a strong start – we have more delegate involvement this year and have a few new and returning projects that we are already working on with excitement! Please continue to collect items for the holiday wish list for OhioGuidestone, and don’t forget to bring them to the November CAPA meeting.

Also, please continue to sell items for our Mixed Reusable Bags fundraiser. The money from this fundraiser not only helps our scholarship fund, but it also provides income for our operating expenses for the year. Our fundraisers are a very important tool to allow us to continue the good work we do for our region!

We will once again be doing our annual basket auction at the Spring Scholarship Luncheon, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Woodside Event Center at St. Michaels in Broadview Heights.

While I continue to narrow down options for locations for our spring meetings, I have received word that we can remain in our current location through January’s meeting. I look forward to seeing each of our delegates on Tuesday, November 14 for CAPA’s monthly meeting of delegates at 6:00pm (5:30pm social time) in the 3rd Floor Board Room at the AAA Building in Independence.
